Our client, an industry leader in communication, seeks a Financial Analyst to be part of its fast-growing company. The Financial Analyst will serve as a lead for the client/project accounting functions for the agency, including revenue recognition, invoicing, and partnership with project management and account management. In this role, you will serve as a key business partner in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. As the Financial Analyst, your main duties will include supporting world class strategic and financial planning methods, building long-range operating plans to support business imperatives and developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources every quarter are consumed at maximum effectiveness. Your responsibilities ? Ensure monthly close is performed accurately, completely, and timely; main focus areas are around revenue recognition, client invoicing, and client reconciliation. ? Collaborate with client teams including Account Services and Project Management to ensure timely client billings of fee and out of pocket expenditures, and client reconciliations ? General ledger postings related to clients, including vouchers and journal entries ? Responsible for financial system data input/management, including job creation, vendor/client set up, client rates, labor/WIP transfers and job close process ? Assist Finance Management in preparing monthly close of financials, including preparation of revenue accruals and journal entries ? Answer questions from key stakeholders including clients, vendors, corporate, and employees ? Create reports for client teams by pulling data from SAP and working in Excel to construct standard/periodic information reports ? Other requirements for the Financial Analyst position include and are not limited to: ? Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) ? Expertise in corporate transactions ? Financial analysis experience desired ? Experience with Enterprise Reporting Planning software (i.e. SAP) ? Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations ? Go-to-market experience or experience ?
